the Moment

it is SO lovely,
beyond lovely,
to meet you in this moment
and love you in this moment
without expectation
or wanting
how, in not wanting, this moment blossoms,
our souls kiss,
ageless
but do understand,
that i DO want something
and if it feels like i’m grappling at times,
consider noticing it for what it is:
not an attempt to control you,
or change you,
or make boxes for the future.
it’s only because i want to spend more time with you.
i do not think it is un-Zen of me
to want to make more of these moments
it is not Desire, Lust nor Ego;
for, to love you is my Calling.
